The Extremus fixed blade knife is the perfect utility knife for camping, hiking, hunting, fishing or general use around the home. It features a 3.5” fixed blade made of durable and corrosion resistant 7CR17 stainless-steel. This stainless blade maintains and edge longer but also sharpens easily back to the factory, razor sharp edge.
The Extremus Camping Knife has a non-slip, TPR molded handle that provides a comfortable and secure grip under any conditions. The handle also features a 750 lb. paracord wrist lanyard in case the knife is dropped. The paracord can also be used as emergency fire starting material by separating and creating a small pile of the interior strands and then striking the magnesium fire starter to light your fire.
Included is a magnesium fire starting tool that stores neatly and safely into the top of the sheath. You can use the back serrated edge of the camp knife to strike sharply against the magnesium stick to create super-hot sparks which will easily ignite many kinds of fire-starting materials. It then neatly stores in the sheath, so it is always ready.

In 2002, the Ontario Knife Company entered into an exclusive collaboration with Randall’s Adventure and Training Team (RAT). Randall’s Adventure and Training (RAT) is a professional survival training, expedition guiding, and outdoor gear research team based in Alabama, with operations in Latin America. RAT is a legal U.S. representative of the Peruvian Air Force school of jungle survival.
